“We have found a model to harnesses the opportunity for restoration that secures legal title of the land for our People, restores the health of Country, and creates long term income for our community to use in ways that meet our priorities: True self-determination.”

- Gail Reynolds-Adamson, Chair ETNTAC

Delivery organisations

The Rejuvenation Fund is the outcome of an innovative collaboration between First Nations organisation Esperance Tjaltjraak Native Title Aboriginal Corporation (ETNAC), environmental not-for-profit Odonata Foundation (Odonata) and carbon offset project developer Carbon Neutral.

Working together, each organisation has brought their unique skills to evolve the Initiative to create tangible pathways to return Country to First Nations custodianship.

More about our delivery partners:

  • With almost 20 years of experience in threatened species recovery management, Odonata Foundation is a leader in threatened species and biodiversity recovery.

Odonata’s conservation solutions are designed to halt and reverse extinction rates for key species now, while building a better landscape where they can thrive in the future. Sustainable finance and innovation are also a big parts of how new solutions are created, identified and tested. Courageous and bold landholders, philanthropists, investors and organisations are key to Odonata’s mobilisation and are invited to join this exciting journey.

  • The Esperance Tjaltjraak Native Title Aboriginal Corporation (Tjaltjraak) is the collective voice and opportunity for Wudjari Nyungar People and the Kepa Kurl community, being the first point of contact for Traditional Custodians in Esperance.

Their operational delivery team is led and supported by a Board of elected representatives and under the cultural guidance of a Circle of Elders.

Tjaltjraak is a registered charity representing and benefiting our whole community of several thousand Traditional Custodians, with a membership of approximately 300 Wudjari Nyungar persons.

  • Carbon Neutral is a Western Australian based carbon offset project developer specialising in biodiverse reforestation projects. The company is a market leader with a global reputation and is one of the longest standing carbon offset project providers in Australia.

With organisations increasingly seeking carbon sequestration solutions coupled with habitat restoration co-benefits, Carbon Neutral responded by developing its flagship biodiverse reforestation projects, allowed the organisation to produce its own high quality reforestation offsets and implement its highly regarded Plant-a-Tree program.
